Airman 1st Class Christopher Brown, 811th Operation Support Squadron host aviation resource manager, is the Team Andrews Warrior of the Week.

Born in Merced, Calif., raised in Atwater, Calif., Brown has been proudly serving in the Air Force since April 2010.

"I joined the Air Force to serve my country, live a new and exciting lifestyle and to get an education," said Brown. "My first deployment was to Southwest Asia in 2011."

This is Brown's second duty location. His first was the 67th Fighter Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan.

Brown was recognized as Warrior of the Week because of his outstanding professionalism and customer focus. These qualities enabled Brown to fully embody the 11th Wing's mission of fostering vigilance, precision and making a global impact.

When not at work, Brown's interests include playing and watching sports. He also runs in various 5K races in the local area.

Currently, Brown is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
