NNSA to Conduct Aerial Radiation Assessment Survey Joint Base Andrews July 17

The National Nuclear Security Administration will be flying over Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, July 17, to measure naturally occurring background radiation. MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Minot Air Force Base will celebrate Independence Day with a free picnic and fireworks display for base residents.  The picnic will begin at 5 p.m. July 4, at Bud Ebert Park. Free hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and soda will be available. 79th Medical Wing welcomes new commander

Maj. Gen. (Dr.) Roosevelt Allen became the new commander of the 79th Medical Wing during a ceremony June 30, 2014.Prior to this assignment, General Allen, a board-certified comprehensive dentist, served as the deputy command surgeon of Air Education and Training Command at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.
