Girl Scouts clean house, get ready to kick-off new year

Master Sgt. John Turner, 79th Medical Operations Squadron 1st sergeant removes barbeque chicken from the grill. Approximately 1,500 pounds of barbeque chicken, 650 pounds of hamburger and 650 pounds of hotdogs were prepared. Hosted by the 316th Services Squadron, members were treated to free food, beverages and several fun activities. More than 4,000 military members, civilians and their families attended the day-long event. The annual event is held to thank base employees and their families.
