Winnin’ Like a Griffin: Staff Sgt. Joel A. Ezzi

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joel A. Ezzi, 316th Security Forces Squadron Base Defense Operations Center controller, explains his duties to Col. Jun S. Oh, 316th Wing and installation commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Kevin W. Helms, 316th Wing command chief, during the February “Winnin’ Like a Griffin” recognition at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, Feb. 17, 2026. Ezzi was recognized for leading training and readiness programs within his flight and serving as the squadron’s lead BDOC controller during the wing combat readiness inspection and the installation’s largest airshow in decades.
