Lt. Col. Brian P. Duffy, 316th Civil Engineer Squadron commander, pins the Bronze Star Medal to the pocket of Master Sgt. Pervis C. King for exceptionally meritorious service during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sergeant King distinguished himself by exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service to the United States as Team Leader Weapons Intelligence Team One, 723rd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, Forward Operating Base Brassfield-Mora, Iraq from Aug. 5, 2006 to Jan. 31, 2007.

Base Shuttle returns

India Hicks, 19, and Justin Yerby, 16, board a base bus shuttle at the main gate Tuesday. India is a cashier at Burger King. Justin is a stocker in Family Furniture at the Base Exchange. The shuttle begins running at 6:30 a.m. The shuttle begins at the Main gate and makes stops at the wing headquarters building, bldg. 1535, the hospital, the Gateway Inn, the Passenger Terminal and the Commissary. The entire run takes an estimated 40 minutes to return to the Main Gate. For more information, call the 316th Logistics Readiness Squadron at 301-981-1182.
