11th SSPTS holds MWD Memorial Service
July 9, 2019 — Joint Base Andrews, Md. – A memorial service was held for Military Working Dog, Tommy, at the Community Commons on Joint Base Andrews Md., July 3, 2019. Tommy was accepted into the MWD program in June of 2014 and went on to put in countless hours of explosive detection. Tommy’s handler at the time was Staff Sgt. Zachary McDaniel, they served together for two years and went on one deployment. The service was attended by 10 other MWD’s and their handlers. ... MORE
